Randall Garrison is an excellent potential representative of Vancouver Centre. He has in fact lived in Van-Centre for many months now. An appropriate length for a community with one of the highest turnovers in tenancy in the country.
Garrison ran nearly successfully in the last two federal elections. Dr. Keith Martin was nearly defeated even though he is a long-serving MP in Esquimalt-Juan de Fuca who has been a member of 4 political parties. Garrison versus Mayencourt versus Fry will be a very interesting race.
Garrison showed incredible strength of principle and character. In his day job he's a Criminology instructor.
why do we constantly keep throwing these people who could win elsewhere at vancouver center? there are worse things on this earth than hedy fry. she's practically an ndp'er herself.
I knew Randall when he was the director of the South Pacific Peoples Foundation of Canada, now called the Pacific Peoples Partnership, based in Victoria. He's a very approachable guy with the common touch.
